Approved Approved approved!!!!!!!!!!

GOt approved for surgery today......but they sent in the wrong paper work.... When i first started this journey i was going to be a lap band patient. and i guess my dr didnt put on the paperwork that i switched to the sleeve. So now i have to wait again for them to resend the paperwork. They said it shouldnt be a problem though.. which is EXCITING.. hopefuly by Wednesday ill have a date set :)

how long did you have to wait for approval and was it by ohip? how long did you have to wait to see a doctor i know my doctor just rffered me for surgery like one month now she sent it via bariatric registry do you know how that works or when i would get a call or letter from them?

Joan i didnt have to wait at al for the approval. I thought the paper work was going to be sent in yesterday but my nurses already sent it in for approval. im not really sure what an ohip is??? you should find a dr. in your area and get the ball moving.
